How I’m spending the rest of my 25th birthday. I’m content

I was reminded today of how much I love Edward Bawden’s linocuts. There’s just something about them I find really beautiful. Maybe it’s the colours or the fact that they tend to involve a lot of architecture I’m a fan of, who knows. Anyway, they’re part of why I want to try out linocuts myself in some small way, even though I know it must take a lot of practice to get anywhere near this level. I can still try though.
I actually bought a card with the Covent Garden one on in it (the fifth image), as I like his work so much and wanted a small piece of it, even if it was only a reproduction. I should really get it framed or something sometime, although I’d have no idea where to put it.
